In 2022 we achieved the Silver School Games Mark for the first time. We are pleased to announce that in July 2023 we achieved the Gold School Games Mark for our commitment to providing our children with access to sporting opportunities and competitions, both in school and across the borough.
Eco Schools Award
Green Flag Award with Distinction
July 2023
For the second year running, our Eco Club achieved the Green Flag Award, with distinction. Feedback from our award included the judges saying, "It's wonderful that you have appointed such a representative Eco-Committee, this shows your school’s excellent commitment to both the programme and the eco-cause. It’s great to see that you had such a group of eager, enthusiastic volunteers".
Stockton Healthy Schools Award

We are one of the first primary schools in the borough to be awarded the Stockton Healthy Schools Award, The judging panel were impressed with our commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of both adults and children. In particular, they noted: "Physical activity across school is strong and pupils have multiple opportunities to be active across the school day. The OPAL school approach allows pupils to assess risk which they can apply outside of school in order to keep themselves safe. This approach at break and lunchtimes is having a positive impact on behaviour with swifter transition back into the classroom after break times."

Bronze Award
September 2022
The school was awarded a Bronze Healthy School award from the Department for Education for its commitment to teaching pupils about keeping healthy across the curriculum.
United Against Bullying

Hardwick Green Primary Academy is a United Against Bullying Bronze School and has demonstrated its commitment to stopping bullying and improving the wellbeing of its pupils.
