Compulsory School Age - Reception, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two
Our school doors open at 8:40am and close at 8:50 am when the register is taken.
School finishes at 3:20pm.
We have staggered break and lunch times, but all children in in KS1 and KS2 have a 15 minute break during the morning.
Children have one hour for lunch, apart from Year 5 and Year 6 who have 45 minutes.
The amount of time children are in school over a typical week is 32.9 hours.
This slightly exceeds the DfE 32.5 hour minimum expectation. The minimum expectation includes the time in each day from the official start of the school day (i.e. morning registration) to the official end to the compulsory school day (i.e. official home time). The 32.5 hour minimum includes breaks and lunch times as well as teaching time. You can read more here.
After-school clubs, breakfast club and wrap around care
Our school breakfast club is open from 8:00am. Access is via the main school playground. Entry is free and booking is not needed. You can read more about breakfast club here.
There are many after-school clubs available, and we operate wrap-around care after school until 5:30pm. You can read more about after-school clubs here.
School Office & Site
The school office is open for enquiries, both in-person and telephone, from 8:00am until 4:00pm.
The school site is open between 7:30am and 5:30pm.
