Children across school today got to take part in a 'Speed Stacking' day.

Speed Stacking is an individual and team sport that involves stacking 9 or 12 specially designed cups in pre-determined sequences as quickly as possible. The cups are specially designed to allow for speedier times. Sequences are usually pyramids of 3, 6, or 10 cups, but there a whole host of different ways to play. Players compete against the clock or another player.

The day was led by Di from SpeedStacks UK and we even had a visit from the UK no 1 stacker Laura Beacom!

We have our very own Speed Stacking equipment in school now, and there is an after-school club in Speed Stacking for KS2 so children can continue to take part in Speed Stacking.
